Canyon opens first Experience Partner location in the Netherlands in Amsterdam together with Concourse

Canyon and Concourse take a new step in the cycling experience in the Netherlands. Since 3 June, cycling enthusiasts and gravel grinders can visit the Karperstraat in Amsterdam Zuid, where the very first Canyon Experience Partner location of the Netherlands opens the doors. The collaboration between direct-to-consumer brand Canyon and the Amsterdam bike service specialist Concourse enables advice, maintenance and test drives to be tackled locally and professionally.

The opening took place on World Bike Day and was celebrated with a social ride, pizzas, drinks and a hearty turnout of cyclists and acquaintances from the Amsterdam cycling scene.

Feel, test and experience bikes

What once began as a purely digital sales model is now giving way to a hybrid approach. Canyon fans can visit Amsterdam for:

• Test drives On models like the Aeroad, Endurace, Grail and more
• Personal advice in choosing the right size and the ideal model
• Service and maintenance by certified technicians from Concourse
• Collect & Ride service: you order online, have the bike delivered to Concourse, and pick it up roadworthy and adjusted

With the physical location, Canyon and Concourse aim to bridge the gap between buying online and personal contact. Canyon's research shows that 65% of consumers want to test a bike before purchase, while 60% seeks expert advice. With the Canyon Experience Partner philosophy, they aim to capitalise on this globally.

A global network, embedded locally

The Amsterdam shop is part of an international rollout. Still this year, a total of 15 Canyon Experience Partner locations will open in Germany, Belgium, Spain, the UK and the US, among others.

For Concourse, this means an expansion of their existing network in Amsterdam West and East. Co-founder Matthew Superior sees the collaboration as a logical continuation:
