Basketball player LeBron James He is not only a cycling fan; since 2022, through his investment group, he has also co-owned Canyon. Now Canyon has built a unique Grizl CF with 32-inch wheels in size 3XL. Not a show model, but a bike that is truly suitable for riding, made for someone who is 2.06 meters tall.
Not just bigger
According to Canyon’s gravel chief engineer Wolfgang Kohl, the frame could not simply be scaled up: the forces do not grow in proportion to the dimensions. The carbon was therefore rebuilt and reinforced, and the steerer tubes and seatpost clamps were milled to size. The bike was built in South Germany with specialized partners. Canyon also used the project to test new production techniques that should accelerate future development.

On most bikes I was aware of where they didn't fit me. This is the first one where I didn't have to think about that.

Especially a nice marketing story, but an interesting one nonetheless: 32 inches is a hot topic in the gravel world, and this is one of the first carbon gravity frames in that size. The bike is not for sale.
