Alejandra Neira world champion in the junior women's category, third Canyon title in a row

Spanish Alejandra Neira won the road race for junior women in Montreal at the World Championships. It is the third consecutive junior world title for a rider on a Canyon bike.

The Spanish Alejandra Neira She is a world champion on the road in the junior women's category. At the World Championships in Montréal, she sprinted from a lead of five to victory on the uphill finish stretch.

Neira initially led a breakaway of three riders, who were joined by two more riders in the final kilometers. In the uphill sprint, she was clearly the fastest. She rode six laps of 13.5 kilometers, each over the Voie Camillien-Houde (1.6 km at 7.7 percent), in 2 hours and 21 minutes, with an average of 34.2 km/h.

Neira rides for Movistar on a Canyon Aeroad CFR. It is the third world title in a row for a female rider on a Canyon in the junior women's category, after Cat Ferguson in 2024 and Paula Ostiz in 2025.
