Garmin today launched the Rally 110 and 210 announced: the latest generation of pedal-based power meters. The new Rally series has been completely redesigned with a rechargeable battery, a more responsive sensor system and a more sustainable design that can handle both on and off-road.
Where previous models of the Rally series were already loved for their versatility, Garmin now takes it a step further. The pedals are easily transferable between different pedal bodies (road or MTB) and from bike to bike, allowing riders to cover all disciplines with one set.

Main innovations
- Rechargeable battery: to 90 hours of driving time per charge. A quick 15-minute charge already provides an extra 12 hours of driving time.
- New sensor system: completely redesigned sensor pen that records data with an accuracy of 1%, including compatibility with oval chainrings. This is something DC Rainmaker will be eying for a while yet
- Pedal IQ™ Smart Calibration: alerts when recalibration is required, e.g. after temperature changes or bike changes.
- Sustainable design: carbon polymer pedal bodies for the RS and RK road versions; all-metal XC version for gravel and MTB.
- Travel Mode: put the pedals in sleep mode during transport to save battery power.
Single vs. dual sensing
The Rally 110 records power and cadence via a single sensor. Riders can later upgrade it to the Rally 210, which with dual sensors provides access to comprehensive cycling dynamics: left-right balance, standing versus sitting riding and more.
Compatibility and options
Both systems are compatible with Shimano SPD, Shimano SPD-SL and Look KEO cleats. The Rally 210 is also available as a bundle with both road and off-road pedal bodies, so you can easily switch depending on the terrain. Cleats and more?
