From 2025, Lapierre will make its return to the UCI WorldTour as the official cycling partner of Dutch Team Picnic PostNL. This collaboration, supported by parent company Accell Group, marks a four-year partnership that puts innovation and performance at the centre.
The first kilometres on the Lapierre bikes will be covered at the Santos Tour Down Under in January, where both the men's and women's Team Picnic PostNL teams will start. The UCI Continental development team will also have access to the French bike brand's latest technology. This collaboration highlights Lapierre's ambition to remain a leading brand both on the road and in the market.
Lapierre: A History of Innovation
Lapierre, founded in 1946 in Dijon, has a rich cycling history. The brand, known for its technological breakthroughs and visual designs, has delivered more than 300 victories in the pro peloton, including wins in the three grand tours and world titles. Lapierre has built a solid reputation thanks to strategic partnerships in both men's and women's cycling.
With this collaboration, Lapierre aims to strengthen its position in Europe and increase its brand awareness worldwide. Lapierre bikes are designed and assembled in Dijon and combine performance with design. Besides road bikes, the brand also produces mountain bikes, city bikes and e-bikes.
Focus on Future Generations
One of the focal points of this collaboration is the joint development of new generations of road bikes. Lapierre's R&D team works closely with Team Picnic PostNL's performance department to push the boundaries of innovation. This means direct feedback from riders that flows back into future models.
For the 2025 season, the team will hit the road with the Lapierre Xelius DRS and Aerostorm DRS, the bikes that won Olympic titles in Paris in 2024
