Not only in the city itself are there many references to the biggest event in recent years. It is a unique moment too because it is 100 years since an Italian first won the Tour. Ottavio Bottecchia was then the winner in a classic 'Tour of France. Back to Florence. Because in honour of the tour start, Pitti Immagine also organised the first edition of Becycle in Florence. Becycle's Tour de France edition oozes style. Beautiful lighting, an extensive programme and unique products. One of those unique products is the special <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colnago.com\/en\/products\/colnago-fleur-de-lys\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tour edition of Colnago<\/a>. In beautiful (Italian?) blue, with fleur de lys detailing, equipped with a unique Shimano Dura-Ace group and the beautiful Tour logo visible in several places. Not only will you find several shoes by Italian great Filippo Ganna, of the Northwave brand, but also a complete shoe collection by Sidi, including the beautiful mules of Miguel Indurain, Tony Rominger, Vicenzo Nibali and others. In addition, you can also find the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sidi.com\/en\/road-shoes\/514-shot-2s.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shot 2s by Sidi<\/a> admire. Pearls, if you ask me. Designer Paul Smith is also present and what turns out: he is a cycling fan. A huge collection of shirts, often signed, and other cycling items adorn his ode to cycling. Clothing maker Nalini, for instance, comes up with a new type of bibshort that is revolutionary. The new 'Contact' separates the chamois from the shorts. The idea behind it is that you have less friction, better clearance and therefore are going to have a nicer ride. Bicycle maker DeRosa has obviously fitted it to his beautiful frame. You see this showpiece of the Italian parts maker quite often. Still a pity Colnago does not have it on its bike. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Becycle is a wonderfully relaxed event, nice to see and fun to walk around for a while. Besides the many brands, there is also a strong focus on cycle tourism.
