This model is not only an aesthetic ode to the cobbled classic, but also a technological masterpiece, with insights from years of testing on and around Roubaix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Images: Canyon<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">'Tensor' design: technology as art<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The name Tensor refers to the 'tensor plot simulations' Canyon uses to visualise stress distribution in the frame. The colour gradient on the frame - from light to dark - shows exactly where the greatest stresses occur during Roubaix. This data was used directly to optimise the carbon lay-up: robust where necessary, light where possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped
