This new racing shoe combines the efficiency of a road shoe with the robustness of an MTB model and introduces the brand new <em>Pontoon Cleat System<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gravel races require a unique mix: maximum power transfer for long stretches of asphalt, but also grip and stability on mud, gravel and technical sections. Shimano thereby integrates replaceable TPU contact blocks directly into the cleat interface. This keeps the pedal support stable regardless of the position of your cleats. The result: the feel of a road shoe, but with full <strong>SPD compatibility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pontoons move with your cleat adjustment and are also replaceable, so you'll arrive at the start with a solid interface every time. Shimano recommends the combination with the <strong>PD-M9200<\/strong> or <strong>PD-M8100 SPD pedals<\/strong>, for optimal power transfer and quick click-in during technical
