Think:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>SHADOW ES technology<\/strong> for maximum chain stability,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a <strong>low-profile design<\/strong> With skid plate,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and <strong>Automatic impact recovery<\/strong>, with which the derailleur automatically repositions itself after an impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The battery is safely hidden in the derailleur and is interchangeable with those of, among others <strong>GRX RX827, XTR and DEORE XT Di2<\/strong>. Shimano gives a range of <strong>700 to 1,000 km<\/strong>, depending on usage and conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tailor-made cockpit: clever combination<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A major plus point of RX717 is its flexibility. The <strong>ST-RX715-R<\/strong> acts as the only switching unit, while on the left a brake lever without electronics is chosen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the <strong>GRX-branded BL-RS717<\/strong>, visually matching GRX builds;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whether the <strong>Shimano-branded BL-RS717-LS<\/strong>, intended as a low-cost option for riders already riding 105, Ultegra or Dura-Ace Di2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the <strong>E-TUBE app<\/strong> Di2 buttons are fully customisable: shifting logic, speed and firmware updates are easily adjusted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
