According to Giro, this is the most advanced aero road helmet the brand has built to date, with measurable gains in aerodynamics, ventilation and protection.

Developed in Giro's own R&D facilities and wind tunnel, the Eclipse Pro uses extensive CFD simulations, physical prototypes and full-scale wind tunnel testing. Giro explicitly focuses on stability at high yaw angles and even airflow, making the Eclipse Pro usable from criteriums to mountain stages and long endurance rides. The internal channel structure has been completely redesigned. Air is actively guided through deep ventilation channels and distributed over the scalp, aiming to improve heat dissipation without aerodynamic concessions - traditionally a weak point in aero helmets.

Protection by MIPS

The Eclipse Pro uses Spherical powered by Mips®, a two-piece construction that protects against rotational forces upon impact, reducing the risk of concussion. The helmet is equipped with the Roc Loc® 5.5 Air adjustment system. According to the manufacturer, the weight: 280 grams in size M.

Proven in competition

The helmet has already been used extensively in the pro peloton. The pros have thus tested it and the helmet has been approved. None other than Wout van Aert, Jonas Vingegaard and the Polish topper Kasia Niewiadoma rode with it to the finish.
