Developed for riders who combine lots of asphalt with light gravel, the tyre focuses on reducing aerodynamic drag for the first time within the Terra range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The result, according to Continental: up to <strong>17% less rolling resistance<\/strong> and <strong>16% weight saving<\/strong> compared to previous models. The tyre uses the <strong>BlackChili<\/strong>-compound and has a textile breaker under the tread as additional puncture protection. Those who seek rougher trails more often and want less risk of punctures will choose the Trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specifications and price<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All variants are <strong>tubeless-ready<\/strong> and suitable for <strong>hookless rims<\/strong>. Continental does not mention specific pressure limits or recommended rim widths in the release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>700\u00d735 mm - 345 grams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>700\u00d740 mm - 420 g<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>700\u00d745 mm - 470 g<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The recommended retail price is <strong>\u20ac68,95<\/strong> per tyre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spot in the Terra range<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Terra Competition fills out the fast end of the Terra range. Whereas the previously launched <strong>Terra Adventure<\/strong> focuses on durability and grip on rougher terrain, the Competition is all about pace and efficiency on predominantly paved surfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continental does not specify against which reference tyre the 17% rolling resistance reduction was measured.
