CUBE new Official Bike Partner of TeamNL Shorttrack

CUBE is the new Official Bike Partner of TeamNL Shorttrack from 1 May. With the 2024 summer games approaching and all partnerships around them already taken, CUBE is now fully committed to the winter. Or rather the summer, because the shorttrackers train on bikes in the summer, of course. From 1 May, the Dutch shorttrackers will work their outdoor training sessions on a beautiful TeamNL CUBE bike. The partnership was signed with a duration of three years, which means the brand will be linked to the shorttrack team until after the winter games in Turin.

Cycling as first alternative

For shorttrackers, cycling is their second training sport. The members of TeamNL Shorttrack are perhaps on bikes more than they skate on ice. The intensive cycling training prior to a training camp, those are mostly done on bikes. Shorttrackers also use their bikes for warming-up and cooling down at competitions. Then everything runs like clockwork.

Quality above all

Just like skates, bicycles are subject to the highest quality standards. CUBE undeniably meets those. The bikes are supplied to the shorttrackers by CUBE distributor Oneway Bike in Rotterdam, in cooperation with CUBE Store Friesland in Oudehaske, one of nine CUBE Stores in the Netherlands. All members of TeamNL shorttrack will also be provided with helmets, shoes and gloves.

All bikes from CUBE are extensively tested in-house before they reach the market. The brand's road bikes are developed together with professional athletes, such as the riders of UCI WorldTeam Intermarché-Wanty. Feedback from the riders is used directly and determines the development of all bikes. In this way, high quality is guaranteed and the bikes are equipped with the latest technologies. Thus, the CUBE Agree C:62 Pro made available also meets the highest standards.

14 May bikes will be awarded

The official handing over of the bikes to all athletes will take place on Tuesday 14 May from 17:00 (walk-in 16:30) at CUBE Store Friesland in Oudehaske. This festive moment is open to all, where there will also be the opportunity to meet the athletes in person.
