AGU launches most sustainable cycling clothing collection ever

AGU unveils its latest sustainable cycling apparel collection, which is distinguished by a complete absence of paint, celebrating the natural colour of the products. This approach not only reduces water consumption, but also the harmful emissions normally associated with conventional dyeing techniques.

This innovative collection of durable and undyed cycling clothing follows the success of AGU's earlier launch of 'undyed' mackintoshes. The brand new Undyed Bikewear line now available, both in physical shops and online.

No paint = more durable

Designed to minimise environmental impact, the undyed cycling apparel uses fabrics such as recycled and undyed polyester for its jerseys and bibshorts. This gives the garments their distinctive, almost white appearance, without the presence of harmful chemicals. Besides a jersey and bibshorts, the collection also includes an Undyed wind body and various bike bags, including a roll bag handlebar and top tube frame bag. The Undyed Bikewear collection is part of AGU's popular SIX6 series, which is characterised by the use of natural materials and a classic look.

Not just uncoloured

Besides the all-white products, the SIX6 range for this spring also includes coloured items treated with the eco-friendly Nano Earth Dyed technique, giving them a natural, 'washed' look. Both the Undyed and Nano Earth Dyed products have been designed with sustainability as a priority, making them the ideal choice for environmentally conscious cyclists at all levels.

AGU's commitment to sustainability extends beyond just encouraging bicycle use as a sustainable mode of transport. The brand is also committed to a more sustainable cycling industry and continues to continuously look for innovative ways to achieve this goal. AGU's Greensphere sustainability logo guarantees that all products are made from environmentally friendly materials, including recycled polyester, organic cotton and PVC-free coatings. The development of undyed materials represents another milestone in this mission.

Undyed is the future

Bjorn Jeurissen, CEO of AGU, stresses the importance of this commitment: "With our Undyed Bikewear collection, we are taking big steps in making the cycling industry more sustainable. As with our Undyed Rainwear collection, these undyed bikewear pieces significantly reduce water use and emissions of harmful substances. This puts AGU at the forefront of sustainable development inside and outside the saddle."

So the AGU spring and summer collection and sustainable cycling apparel not only promise to make a fashion statement, but also contribute to a more sustainable planet.
