After a three-year process of exhaustive material research and extensive field and lab testing, we arrived at 20 optimised carbon spokes that are not only 29% lighter than their steel counterparts, but also stronger and more durable.

Control SL Team earns its name by achieving optimal stiffness targets that need WC victory. The rims and carbon spokes are optimised for lateral stiffness, creating fine handling so you can follow the line you have in mind. According to Roval (part of Specialized), this wheelset has 33% more strength than its closest competitors The flat bead shape almost completely removes the danger of a puncture, as it takes 40% more impact to get a puncture than our strongest competitors - so riders can confidently use their preferred air pressure with 100%.
