What a day it was Uno-X Mobility. In the seventh stage of the Vuelta, 149.8 kilometers from Vall d’Alba to the top of Aramón Valdelinares, fell Andreas Leknessund at the final climb and he rode solo to the victory. Teammate Tobias Halland Johannessen came second: a Norwegian one-two finish.

It is the first Vuelta ever for the Norwegian team, which entered the WorldTour this year. Uno-X rides bikes made by the Belgian company Ridley.

Our perspective

A debutant in the WorldTour who immediately takes the first two places in a mountain stage in his first Vuelta: nobody had predicted that. The promotion of Uno-X has been earned in one fell swoop after this day.
